Susan Sweeney, MD
Concord and Cambridge Offices – Accepting New Patients
Dr. Susan Sweeney graduated from Providence College and earned her medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. After training in a pediatric residency program at Cedars Sinai Medical Center/UCLA, she returned to UMass Medical School where she completed her dermatology residency, serving as chief resident in her final year. She completed fellowships in both Mohs Micrographic Surgery & Cutaneous Oncology and Pediatric Dermatology at UMass Medical School.
Prior to joining Dermatology Associates of Concord, Dr. Sweeney worked as an academic dermatologist at UMass Medical School followed by many years in a private practice setting. She has assisted in training medical students, residents and Mohs fellows. She has presented at both regional and national meetings and has published several journal articles and book chapters. She is an experienced skin cancer and reconstructive surgeon, with additional experience in pediatric dermatologic surgery.
Dr. Sweeney sees pediatric patients and performs surgical procedures on adults and children in the Concord and Cambridge locations.
