Skin Cancer Management
We are skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, including basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and malignant melanoma. Surgical treatment of most of these cancers, including Mohs micrographic surgery, is performed in our own out-patient office setting. Treatment of more complex problems and advanced melanoma can be arranged in collaboration with the Oncology Departments at Emerson Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, Dana Farber Cancer Institute or Beth Israel-Deaconess Medical Center. In addition, treatment of precancers with traditional surgical techniques, liquid nitrogen (cryotherapy), topical chemotherapy and blue light treatment (photodynamic therapy) are offered.
