Terry P. Hadley, MD

Terry P. Hadley, MD

Concord Office - Accepting New Patients

Dr. Terry Hadley attended Wabash College and received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. He trained in the department of dermatology at Harvard Medical School following a two-year military obligation as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Public Health Service Hospital in Staten Island, New York. 

Throughout his years in practice he has remained active in the local and regional dermatological societies, serving as president of the Boston Dermatological Society, Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology, and New England Dermatological Society. He has presented lectures for the local hospital staff and participates in free skin cancer screening clinics.

In addition to general dermatology, Dr. Hadley performs a number of cosmetic procedures, including a variety of laser procedures for wrinkling, scarring, spider veins, and hair removal; BOTOX and Restylane injections.

Dr. Hadley sees patients in our Concord location.

Kathryn E. Bowers, MD

Kathryn E. Bowers, MD

Dr. Kathryn Bowers graduated from the University of Vermont and received her medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. She trained in dermatology at the University of Rochester, where she also served as the program's chief resident. Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Bowers was a registered nurse and nurse practitioner with a master's degree from Simmons College in Boston.

In addition to general dermatology, Dr. Bowers performs a variety of cosmetic procedures, including chemical peels, sclerotherapy, BOTOX and fillers of all types; and laser procedures for spider veins, hair removal, and brown spots.

Dr. Bowers is the immediate past president of the Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology and chief of the Department of Dermatology at Mount Auburn Hospital.

Prior to joining Dermatology Associates of Concord, Dr. Bowers was a full-time academic dermatologist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School. During that time she was the co-director for the Collaborative Clinic for Diseases of the Oral Mucosa in conjunction with the Department of Oral Surgery. She has lectured both locally and nationally on the topic of diseases of the oral mucosa.

    Eileen M. Deignan, MD

    Eileen M. Deignan, MD

    Dr. Eileen Deignan graduated from Wesleyan University and received her medical degree from Yale University. As a medical student, she was a Howard Hughes Research Scholar at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Deignan completed an internship in internal medicine at Stanford University. Subsequently, she trained in dermatology at Harvard Medical School, and in her final year she served as the chief resident.

    Dr. Deignan is on the Board of Directors of the Emerson Hospital Health System as well as the Emerson Healthcare Foundation. She serves as the Chief of the Dermatology Service at Emerson Hospital.

    Additionally, she is the Treasurer of the Emerson Medical Staff and the Associate Chair of the Credentials Committee.

    Dr. Deignan is the immediate past President of the New England Dermatological Society. She is also on the board of the Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology and a delegate to the Massachusetts Medical Society.

    Dr. Deignan teaches dermatology to residents in Harvard Medical School residency programs.  She also lectures Harvard and MIT medical and graduate students.

    Along with general dermatology, Dr. Deignan performs several cosmetic procedures, including light chemical peels and intense pulsed light therapy (IPL) for facial photorejuvenation; laser treatment for spider veins and hair removal; and BOTOX and Restylane injections.

    Matthew T. Zipoli, MD

    Matthew T. Zipoli, MD

    Dr. Matthew Zipoli, a native of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, graduated from Tufts University and received his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. Following an internship in internal medicine at UMass Memorial Medical Center, he trained in the department of dermatology at the University of Minnesota, where he served as the program’s chief resident.

    Following his dermatology residency, Dr. Zipoli was a fellow in Mohs micrographic surgery, surgical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and laser therapy at the University of California, San Francisco. He has lectured locally and nationally to physician and community groups, and he participates in free cancer screenings.

    Dr. Zipoli performs Mohs micrographic surgery several days a week in our offices, as well as dermatologic surgery and general dermatology. Additionally, he performs an array of cosmetic procedures including BOTOX, Restylane, and injections, a variety of lasers for rosacea, brown spots, scars, wrinkles and hair removal; sclerotherapy for leg veins; and cosmetic surgical excisions.

    Dr. Zipoli sees patients in our Concord and Cambridge locations.

    Caroline L. Levine, MD

    Caroline L. Levine-Williams, MD

    Dr. Caroline Levine-Williams graduated from the University of Vermont in 1990 with a BA degree in zoology. She then received her medical degree in 1997 from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. During that time, Dr. Levine also spent one year as a student fellow in the department of pathology. Dr. Levine completed an internship in internal medicine at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vermont. Subsequently, she trained in dermatology at the University of Minnesota.

    Prior to joining Dermatology Associates of Concord, Dr. Levine worked in a multispecialty clinic in Robbinsdale, Minnesota for three years while serving as faculty at the University of Minnesota and teaching medical students and dermatology residents. She is now happy to be back in New England, closer to family.

    In addition to caring for the general dermatological concerns of both children and adults, Dr. Levine also has a special interest in medical and surgical management of pre-skin cancers and skin cancers. She also performs a number of cosmetic procedures, including chemical peels, blue light therapy, sclerotherapy, BOTOX injections, and laser procedures for spider veins, hair removal, age spots, and wrinkling.

    Dr. Alexis Perkins graduated summa cum laude from Bryn Mawr College where she studied neuroscience and English literature.

    She attended Harvard Medical School, where she was selected for a Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellowship, which she completed with Dr. Alexa Kimball in the departments of dermatology at Brigham and Womens and Massachusetts General Hospitals. The focus of her fellowship was acne, rosacea, and psoriasis.

    Following medical school, Dr. Perkins completed an internship in internal medicine at St. Vincent's Hospital, followed by a dermatology residency at the University of Massachusetts, where she served as chief resident in her final year.

    Dr. Perkins practices general dermatology and enjoys caring for both children and adults. In addition to general dermatology, her clinical interests include acne, rosacea, psoriasis, skin cancer screening and prevention, and laser and cosmetic dermatology. She authored several peer-reviewed publications concerning acne, rosacea, and psoriasis.

    Lauren Alberta-Wszolek, MD

    Dr. Lauren Alberta-Wszolek, a native of Massachusetts, graduated from the College of the Holy Cross and received her medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, being elected into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Society. She completed an internal medicine internship at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center and a dermatology residency at UMass Medical School, where she served as chief resident in her final year.

    Prior to joining Dermatology Associates of Concord, Dr. Alberta was a full time academic dermatologist at UMass Medical School, where she had the opportunity to treat patients with challenging skin conditions and teach dermatology residents, rotating residents from other fields, and medical students. She then moved with her family to Houston, Texas and spent two years at Bellaire Dermatology Associates, where she practiced general dermatology and performed a variety of cosmetic procedures.

    Dr. Alberta has presented at both regional and national meetings and has published several journal articles and book chapters, ranging from acne and rosacea to infectious diseases, drug rashes, and inpatient dermatology.

    Dr. Alberta practices general dermatology and enjoys caring for both adults and children. In addition to general dermatology, she has a special interest in acne, rosacea, psoriasis, skin cancer screening and prevention, and cutaneous surgery. She also performs a variety of cosmetic and laser procedures.

    Dr. Cheryl Gray graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard University in 1999. She received her medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where she received a full scholarship as a Spencer T. Olin Fellow and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

    Dr. Gray completed her internship in internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and her residency in dermatology at the University of Massachusetts, where she served as chief resident in her final year. Prior to joining Dermatology Associates of Concord, she practiced in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

    Dr. Gray enjoys seeing both adults and children, with special interests in skin cancer, acne, psoriasis, and eczema. She performs surgical procedures, including removal of skin cancers, moles, and cysts, and cosmetic dermatology, including BOTOX injections, fillers, and laser treatments for hair removal, sun spots, and veins.

    Dr. Christina Alavian received her medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in 2005. She also attended the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, earning a BA degree in biology in 1999. Dr. Alavian completed a clinical and research fellowship in dermatology at Massachusetts General Hospital, and a dermatology residency at University of Massachusetts Medical School, where she was chief resident from 2009 to 2010.

    In addition to joining Dermatology Associates of Concord, Dr. Alavian continues to be involved with the University of Massachusetts Medical School. She is an assistant professor in the department of dermatology.

    Dr. Julie Fenner received her medical degree from the University of Massachusetts.  After an internship at Georgetown, she returned to the University of Massachusetts where she completed a residency in dermatology.

    Prior to joining Dermatology Associates of Concord, Dr. Fenner worked in Stoneham and Medford, MA. Dr. Fenner treats both adult and pediatric patients and performs minor dermatologic surgeries and laser procedures.
